HelixChute2 is free to try, and licensed per device for a fixed term. Licences are bought, renewed and upgraded online at helixchute.helixtech.com.au, which always shows the current prices. See Licensing & Activation for how to activate a licence once you have one.
With no licence activated, HelixChute2 runs as the free Demo edition – no registration or licence key needed. It has every feature of the program, limited to one feed box, a total feed rate of 1,000 tph and a minimum particle size of 150 mm, so it can be used to evaluate the workflow and the sample projects but not for detailed production design work.
To evaluate the full program on your own designs, email sales@helixtech.com.au to request a 14-day Professional trial licence, then activate it the same way as a purchased licence (see Licensing & Activation).
Each licence is for one edition, on one device at a time, for 6, 12 or 24 months. Prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD).

| Renew | Renew at any time from My licences on the website, for 6, 12 or 24 months – the new term is added to your licence's current expiry date, and the licence key and the device it is activated on stay the same. You can renew as Professional at any time (the upgrade for the time still left is added to the price); moving down to Standard is possible once the current licence has expired. |
| Upgrade | Upgrade a current Standard licence to Professional for the time left on it – you pay the difference for the remaining days, and the expiry date stays the same. |
| Expiry | Licences do not renew automatically. When a licence expires, HelixChute2 keeps running with the Demo edition limits until it is renewed; your projects and recordings are not affected. |
